Piano lessons
The piano is a fantastic instrument to learn. I started having lessons aged six and continue to teach the piano for over 20 years. Learning the piano should be fun, social, and confidence-boosting. My group piano lessons give children the chance to explore music together in a supportive and engaging environment. Through games, creative activities, and age-appropriate pieces, students develop strong musical foundations while enjoying the motivation that comes from learning alongside friends. Every child is encouraged at their own pace, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and enthusiasm for music.
Piano lessons for children
I offer small group lessons for children from beginners to intermediate level. The classes are organised into age groups&follow a specialised group piano curriculum with lots of parental support and communication.
Children can start lessons as young as four in the group setting. Give your child the chance to learn the piano in a lively, social, and inspiring group setting. My group piano lessons turn learning into an adventure, using games, duets, and hands-on activities to keep children excited and engaged. Students encourage one another, celebrate progress together, and develop a love for music that goes far beyond the classroom. It’s the perfect way for young beginners to build skills and friendships at the same time.

Learning for fun
.
Many children love the idea of playing the piano or keyboard as a fun skill to share with others or simply for personal enjoyment. Learning the piano isn’t just about preparing for exams—it's also a wonderful creative outlet that builds confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of music.
I teach a wide range of children’s age groups and offer lessons that include classical pieces, jazz, pop, musical theatre, and film music. I have a variety of music books available, and students also have access to a library of sheet music they can use for practice. I encourage my students to play duets with me, as this helps develop rhythm, listening skills, and a strong sense of musical teamwork—all while keeping lessons enjoyable and engaging.
For children who show a strong commitment to regular, daily practice and take a real interest in working towards music exams, private lessons can be offered to support more focused preparation and individual progression after learning for a few years in our group setting.
