Lessons at our local primary school

I provide lessons at our local school "Acton Primary school" in small groups. The children learn on weighted, touch sensitive keyboards and lessons are held every Friday afternoon during term time. The children take part every year in a musical recital where  they perform for the whole school and their parents. Spaces are very limited and there is a small waiting list you can add your child to. We follow the Keynotes programmes and Way cool Keyboarding for ages 9-11

If you would like to enrol your child in one of our groups at the school, the first taster lesson is completely free then the next month of lessons is half price and all books and materials are provided. There is no need to purchase a piano for your trial but if your child is keen to continue, I can provide advice and details on an appropriate instrument to get started with.

My music room

My designated music room in my home in Acton Sudbury is fully equipped with two full six digital pianos and six touch sensitive Yamaha keyboards which allows students to play on a variety of instruments and have their own instrument at practice time.

Games and more

I have an extensive range of games, flashcards, worksheets, music apps, sheet music and percussion instruments which we use in every lesson from giant floor pianos and staves, bucket drumming, pompoms, colourful scarves, desk bells and magnetic counters. Lots of off bench activities to keep students engaged!
